Join underwater filmmaker Mike DeGruy as he dives in search of the strangest sharks around – flat sharks, sharks that blow up like balloons, sharks with venomous horns, sharks that glow in the dark and even sharks known to walk on their fins.

In South Africa, tourists are amazed as a great white savagely leaps at decoy seals. But, there's something more astonishing happening below the surface. Real seals exact their revenge on sharkdom by tossing around tiny shy eye (or, Izak) sharks, which roll into a ball to cover their eyes when harassed.

In deeper water, discover the mysterious cookie-cutter shark. This miniature, bioluminescent predator rises from the ocean each night – glowing bright green – and takes strange, scoop-like bites out of its larger shark cousins. Shark expert Aidan Martin studies the bite mechanism and reveals how the shark attaches to its prey with its suctorial lips, then quickly rotates its entire body to cut out a cookie-shaped chunk of flesh from the larger animal.

To help lure this little leviathan, DeGruy calls on Monster Garage's Jesse James – a shark fan and expert heavy-duty mechanic. Jesse constructs a shark-feeder big enough to house half of a pig and strong enough to keep out oceanic white-tips and tiger sharks. But when Mike rigs the shark feeder with cameras and drops it in crowded Hawaiian waters, he realizes that his feeder may attract more than he bargained for. Crocodile sharks, like mini great whites, and pygmy sharks, the smallest shark of all, also live in these waters – and they're hungry, too!
