Follow America's Joe Martin, England's Russell Mitchell and Australia's Scotty Cox over the next five weeks as each pushes the limits of his creativity and fabrication skills to create a truly world-class machine in time for the final showdown at Daytona Beach's Rat's Hole. It's a clash of mechanical philosophies and muscular personalities – where only one biker will thunder off into the sunset the winner.

Episode 1 – The Builds Begin
Meet the Martin brothers, Joe and Jason, from Dallas, Texas. They've built their reputation on custom bikes that push the boundary of visual aesthetic: long and low-slung. But will Joe's radical designs shape up to be his Achilles heel in this competition? In Los Angeles, transplanted Englishman Russell Mitchell builds his bikes in contrast to the American style – no frills, matte black and scuffed metal. He saves precious build time by using parts from his own shop...except when it comes to the engine, a decision that may come back to haunt him. Scotty Cox, working with a small crew in the Australian outback, shines and polishes his stripped-down, paint-less bikes by hand. Early on, he seems to be the frontrunner, until he realizes that his out of the way location may lead to a disastrous ending.

Episode 2 – The Builds Continue
Joe Martin and his team spend the better part of a week trying to chop and bend a vintage springer-style front end. If it works, it'll demonstrate a brilliant mix of old and new. If not, they'll have wasted valuable time. Russell Mitchell's English squad finally receives its Knucklehead motor, a central component to Mitchell's plans for an old school, hot rod style bike. But the Knucklehead turns out to be more of a headache when an unwelcome surprise arrives along with it. In Australia, the gang at Scotty's Choppers is faced with the challenge of assembling their chopper and polishing the bike's alloy armor in time for the shipping deadline – a task that proves more difficult than they had planned.
